New Laundry Room etc...

It's been a few days since my last update. As I mentioned in my last Blog, we are out of TV at the moment. And in light of the events this week, I'm thinking that is not such a bad thing. The only way I have to get information is on-line, and I have no speakers for my computer either so I can only watch video and read articles! Therefore I have been a little lax in my updating because in my "spare time" I've been trying to get a grip on what's going on. Who knew all these years they have been joking about LA falling into the ocean that they were joking about the wrong La! We did have a bit of a run in already (well it's been a month!). The guy we hired to do the plumbing turned out to be an idiot! So we have had to fire him. We lost a few dollars, but things like this are bound to happen, you just have to roll with it. He did manage to get the washer and dryer hook up in my new laundry room! Good-bye Fluff and Fold....for now! Check out my new laundry room (this is my old office). Now the washer and dryer will be moved over centered under my new window and the w/d will be on pedistals when we are all done! Also, on the right side of the dryer I will have a sink in there, you can see the pipes in the wall for it.

Now they have also been digging some major holes under the house. In the last Blog I showed you the holes in the floor. That's because they have been digging huge holes under the house to hold up the new footings. Check out how deep the holes are!
